We recently had the pleasure of working with Mediterra Bakehouse, a family-owned and operated large-scale artisan wholesale bakery, to streamline their operations.
From Buying Ice to In-House Production
Back in September, Mike, the owner at Mediterra Bakehouse, contacted our Sales Director, James, seeking ways to improve their ice procurement process. They were spending a significant amount on purchasing bagged ice, and James knew we could offer a solution.
Following a comprehensive site survey, we determined that two sub-cooled flake ice machines on tote frames would perfectly meet Mediterra Bakehouse's needs. In October, our team expertly installed the machines, and Mike has been thrilled with the results.
Mike expressed his satisfaction with how our ice machines have reduced their reliance on expensive bagged ice whilst increasing quality and consistency. This translates to substantial cost savings for Mediterra Bakehouse, allowing them to invest those resources back into their core business.
