Bedlam Farms produce vegetables grown to the highest standards with everything grown exclusively on their farm. They are continuing to grow and innovate, expanding their range of specialist crops and strengthening their position as a trusted supplier of premium organic produce.
In July 2024, a fresh produce customer required an ice solution to support crop storage during the peak summer period. While they were certain ice was essential to maintain product quality, they were initially unsure of the capacity required.
Following a conversation on 19th July, an F1AR ice machine was recommended as a suitable starting point. The unit was installed just six days later, on 25th July, ensuring the customer could respond quickly to seasonal demand. As the customer’s needs evolved, it became clear that additional capacity would be required for future seasons. After four months of operation, a plan was agreed to upgrade to a larger solution. The customer is now operating their second year with the F2AR, mounted on a tote frame for increased efficiency and scalability.
The installation process was straightforward, thanks to the machine’s plug-and-play design. This allowed for rapid deployment with minimal disruption to operations.
